My Barrell on my A% is EXTREMELY loose...  to the point that Im afraid its just going to rattle off when I play...  I Tried Tightening the Screws on either side of the Body where the barrell locks on and that didn't work...

I also just bought a BT AK Barrell, and that is loose as well...  It swivels back and forth when I fire...

is there any way to tighten the connection right there?

Are you sure you have it screwed all the way in? Tightened all the way, it should bottom against the shoulder and be held by the friction of the "O" ring..

Right here on the Tippmann web pages you can find the manual for your marker which will contain a schematic view of your marker. Locate the barrel and locate the "O" ring.

i doubt the oring is ur problem because theires no oring on my barrell adapter. either put a few coats of paint on the barrell adapter or wrap it in elecrical tape it should make for a nice snug fit. or send it into tippmann and theyll proably give u a new one

If you send it to tippmann they'll just send you a new barrel o-ring and think you're nuts.  Find one at your local shop.

One shot, One kill.... Oh, wait. What fun is that? TEN shots, one kill, and a bunch of welts on your back.

I agree, there is no O-ring on my adapter.  Maybe the threads on the barrel adapter are slightly stripped or overtightened then loosened to the point where there is too much play.

the a-5 doesn't need barrel o-rings... what are you guys talking about.  It must be a problem with the barrel adaptor tell tippmann an they'll give you a new one for free probably.

yeah i'm having problems with my barrel adapter for my a-5 too just recently...no matter how much i tighten the allen screws without trying to strip them out, the barrel adapter loosens up when i unscrew my barrel.  is that normal too or is something wrong with the adapter?

Well, I have taken apart an A-5 only once and that was nearly a year ago. But, I remember a barrel "O" ring. And the schematic in the manual shows a "barrel O-ring," part #02-40. Has the A-5 changed?

ok this the problem. The old barrel adapters do not have an o-ring and there is no place to put one in. Tippman makes an upgraded barrel adapter with the o-ring in it. You  perhaps may be able to go to a tippman dealer and they will either give u a new on or you may have to purchase one. If so it is not big money

Tighten up the screw that's just below the barrel.
