Nice job. Fornt grip doesnt look too close, but yeah, it looks like the handguard curves up a little towards the front.

I think that it looks awesome. The MP5 is my favorite close contact assault weapon. Mine is just about exactly like that, except I do not have that barrel setup, I have a Lapco shorty with the lapco barrel cover. I have the one made by Amrson, bought at Proteamdirect, it looks basically like yours. It was a little to long for me, so that is why I went to the Lapco stuff, plus I think it is one of if not the best barrel out there. Your MP5 looks great! Dont forget about a sling. |

I like it a lot. Although, the stock could stand to be better it's still a great gun. |

If you look at a real MP5SD, the front grip is supposed to be that close: http://www.hkpro.com/mp5sd.htm However, by the looks of it he didn't want to cut off the finger guard nor remove the vertical front grip. Other than those flaws I much prefer the placement of the magazine & SD front grip as presented over others that look fake for being much too long. And I don't mind the stock on it too much. Well done - What airsoft body did you start with?
Edit ... please note, if you look at the link above, the sliding stocks in the pictures. The fold-over stock is for PDWs, the sliding stock is the correct choice for an MP5 for those that want an adjustible stock. Edited by Arbites - 12 April 2006 at 3:25am |
