I have had a rt on my gun for about 4-5 weeks and have had not problem with the speed. early on when tuning i never got the resistance that the tuning manual was talking about. i figure that if i could get this resistance on the piston that i would be able to shoot even faster then i am currently. what is it that i can do to fix this.

You just have to keep tuning it until you find the sweet spot, it will take a while but once you find it you will be able to rip with the RT. You also need to learn how much pressure to apply to the trigger so that you apply enough to release the bolt, but not to much that the piston doesnt push the trigger back against your finger. Good Luck.

if you have trouble finding the sweet spot, get a double trigger, it helps alot. (and you can always use the double trigger in areanas that don't allow your RT)

like i said though i am not having trouble with the speed. i can hold the trigger down and get plenty of shots off and fast. the tuning manual said that if i turn the srew to a certain point then it should get very hard to pull and i never had that happen with the tunning. is there somthing that could be wrong with the piston seal? also are you suppose to be able to push the piston in with your finger after fully extended?

there is nothing more for you to do. That's as hard as it gets to pull, which (whether you agree or not) is harder than the normal trigger pull.

not to argue or anything but when tuned all the way up it shoots the same as when it is tuned all the way down. i put in a friends R/T and his works properly. i cant find anything wrong so probably someone knows something i dont.

If it is a A-5 it could be that the piston in the grip isnt sealed properly where it connects to the body of the gun. If its a 98 I dont know what the problem is.

the question is does it work?????? if it does dont mess with it!!!! what i think you are talking about is turning the R/T screw all the way in.like your manual says yes it should be a hard trigger pull with no r/t at all....mine has never been hard to pull.if it rips then leave it alone

if a friend's r/t works in YOUR gun, then it may be the lubrication inside the r/t. Open your grip and take the piston out, there should be a pinkish (i think it's pink?) lube. Without that, it probably won't fire properly.
