ive been thinking about this for quite some tim but havent had the chance to try it, wondering if anyone could toss in some advice ive got a LOT of those smoke bombs that the ice cream man sells, and ive been thinking how to make it all into one big one....heres what im thinking 1.take a toilet paper cardboard roll thing and tape off one end 2. take apart the smoke bombs and take the little stick of that smoke stuff and pack it into the toilet paper roll 3. cover over the end you didnt already cover and cut a hole for the fuse on the one piece sticking up the way i figure, the heat from the burning smoke will continuously light the next fuse down the line and so forth. i was also thinking about taking something like a piece of toilet paper to use to cover the second end of it so that the flame from the fuse will burn it off so the smoke can eject, or something like that only thing i can see wrong with it as of now is the toilet paper roll lighting on fire....any ideas or advice? im hesitant on mixing salt peter and sugar (i think thats it) bc my dad would kill me for doing something like that |

The odds of potasium nitraite and sugar exploding(rapid fire) while cooking it, is slim, could it happen - yes.
Plus the hard part is finding salt peter, and not getting arrested for buying large amounts. Id just stick with the fireworks/army surplus places. So go for it. |

we used to take apart strobes and put them in empty pen casings. they lasted longer than the original strobe. you should make a giant one of those.

Remember if you are planning on using this for paintball, most fields don't allow hot smoke so you might want to rethink your idea.

never mind i dont want to be responsible if you get hurt. my brothers friend got hurt from taking apart those mortar shell deals. i guess some of the powder went off when he was taking it apart. i think he learned his lesson. |

i know but just incase the powder ignites while your taking the strobes apart. just tie two or three of those stick smoke things together and tie the fuses together. we did that and it works as a cover. or have you ever heard of "smoke in the can"?

you can find salt peter in pharmacies. just go in ask and see if they have it, its actually used to make you limp if you catch my drift so they use it, for people in basic training and such, so you dont get the urge and arent able to pusue it.
