According to The Washtington Times some scientists think they may have found a gene that gives people the predisposition to believe in God....Interesting stuff, but there are some scary possible reprecussions, should we ever really impliment genetic modification of our children...

I do love the religious rebuttle. No, it's not true because we say it's not. Rather than actually trying to disprove him.

Don't blame me, I voted for Kodos.

WTH is a nazi?
"Abortion is not "choice" in America. It is forced and the democrats are behind it, with the goal of eugenics at its foundation."

-FreeEnterprise, 21 April 2011.

Yup, he actually said that.

Oh man. My fantasy of a crazy government is slowly coming true. I can't wait for a police state. Who wants to make some molotov cocktails and ambush some cops?

LOL! Awsome.

As a side note to all this, as far as genetically engineering our kids, as I think it about it, it would probably be a pretty idea without this gene....

Personally I dont see what all the fuss is, its not something we should "ZOMG ANIHILLATEZORZ!1", suggestions like that scare the crap out of me (as mentioned earlier, nazis anyone?), its just a gene.  Further more the more religious people should be thrilled by this news, whos to say a creator didnt install this gene in us to make us beleive?

BTW, not meaning to be anal ryan but very old article, seen it on a few other forums a while back

At first I laughed, but after I thought about it, I wouldn't mind my kid getting that.  I wouldn't have to worry about the kid making the choices I did.  It would be a religous zealot.

Meh Dar, it was in my Google reader so I thought I'd share. But anyway, if God put that in there to make us believe wouldn't that be violating the supposed freedom of will?

Oh and I hope Apoth never has kids.
