Well i recently bought a second hand 98 custom from a friend just to try out the sport. I played last weekend and things went pretty smoothly. Velocity was a little low so i turned that up etc. But as i was unscrewing the co2 the twisting suddenly became looser and i heard gas flowing from the barrel of the gun. This flow correlated to the position of the "bolt." I realize that this is probably an 0-ring somewhere and i checked the one on the co2 tank and it was fine. Im new at this but im just wondering if I should be more worried than i am. I really appreciate any help you can give.

Welcome to the forum. When it leaked, was the gun cocked? The bolt could
have been pushing a little bit on the valve plunger. |

That is perfectly normal. What is happening is that the Rear Hammer is leaning on the valve compressing the spring a little bit. If you cock the marker it should stop. |
