I didn't know where to put this so... Has anyone ever tried reballs? I dumped a hopper yesterday at The Bunker in Michigan. They shoot pretty good. I think reball is going to take a chunk out of the paint market.

I've tried them once in a buddy of mine's Ion. They worked pretty well. I've often thought about splitting a case with someone.

I shoot 'em at home to save money. They work really well as long as they are clean and you have a way to keep them from bouncing around.

So when you yell for the ref to check the guy's hopper, what is he going to look for...a dent? Reballs take a chunk out of the quantity of paint used in games? I can see the ads now, "Cheat without having to wipe! Just ignore the hits. Who'll know?" Wouldn't that be like playing AirSoft with really big BB's? Edited by Bruce A. are you serious? ^^ they arent for real games, more for practice, back yards, and such he said he "dumped a hopper" he meant that he shot a hopper full of reballs and no they wont take a dent out of the pb companys money, people play more than they practice |

The Bunker is a reball only facility. Some of the guys from Chicago Evil where there tonight. The home team is Redline and they're division 3. I think they're in 10th. They get WAS guys, old Rat Factory, atomix and zero tolerance players. Reball is all Redline uses for practice. The facility is very nice with an x ball field and another air field. I'm going to start playing reball for the caliber of players at the facility and its cheaper than buying paint. They shoot real nice but you can have hopper jams but you don't have breaks. If someone wants to cheat they're going to cheat. oh well

I would hope so. The attraction to paintball, at least for me, is that there is none of the "I shot you! No, you didn't" stuff for the most part. As for another post that people are going to cheat, yes, but there don't have to be refs for each player. With PAINTballs one ref can scan several players and see that there is paint where there was none before. Wiping at least takes a second or two and the movement itself draws attention. Reballs are interesting for practise...slightly. If Re ball fields became the dominant sport, I'll just have to go back to cowboy and Indians where I point my finger. Bang, you're dead! (no I'm not, you missed) |

I have one in my town that is nothing but Re-balls. If its just you and a few friends there during the day they'll let you go on the honor system if you want, but they do have plenty of refs if you want to go the other way with it also. |

Honor system? As a kid, when I was playing cowboys & Indians my best friend was always the one that said, "No, you missed." That is where a ref would have been useful! |

actually no, its not. what im sayin is youd have to play every hit with a reball counts even if it skimmed you, and we all know that real paintballs bounce all the time. |

the big thing reballs are good for are drills like snap shooting and laning off the break practice which you do with boxs. saves paint for the real games where the hit matters.

Reballs are $600 for 2000. Not a bad deal in the long run, provided you do drills and whatnot and don't like using so much real paint. |

yeah thats what i thought. and see i don't go to indoor fields...or have anyplace to practice indoor. cuz i could do it outside. but i don't really want to cuz i could easily loose them like everywhere. and since i live on a farm...it would be hard to find some of them. i think i'll just stick to paint. |

They aren't meant for everyone. But if you have the correct facilities availabe, they will save you money. One a day, I get this urge to go outside and paint something. It is about a three second rush, though, ( |
