I am thinking that a regulator would be a good thing to add to my a-5
now that I am using HPA instead of CO2. I bought a fixed output
tank and the first time I hooked up to it I blendered like crazy.
Would this have been caused by not having a reg or more by using the
marker with the velocity set for CO2 and not for HPA?
If I am going to need or even if it would be a good upgrade, I would appreciate recomendations for a good regulator that I can mount on my tank. Thanks, Adam G |

You need to adjust your velocity when you switch between air sources.

Velocity adjustment is a good thing. Look into a Palmers stabilizer. They work on CO2 and HPA.

OK. That is kind of what I was thinking. Which Palmer stabilizer will I need to go on my tank? male, female, transgender? I am also assuming that the stabilizer will work with a low pressure kit, and will act as the regulator necessary to run the LPK. is this assumption correct? thanks, Adam G |

If you install a LPK you MUST install a secondary regulator. The Palmer is one of the best. |

OK I have read that. The question now is which Palmer should I go with. It looks like they dont make a unit that mounts to the HPA tank, all of them appear to need to be either on the tombstone or otherwise mounted to the marker, Like the sig picture above. I have seen some people use a bracket that mounts it over the Cyclone piston. How many other options are there? Thanks, Adam G |

Call Palmer and ask! (916) 923-9676 The female Stabilizer can be mounted in place of the ASA. It could also be screwed onto the HPA tank carried on your back and a remote line connected. |
