Nice. Definately paint the vents black. BTW were did you get the new lenses for the mask? I can't find any for my EL. |

iv seen alot of people cut those side vents off them. a techno or whipper snapper strap would be sweet on them.

Well, I thought about it and I personally don't think it would look good with white vents. I'd only do the front 3 and in my opinion it just wouldn't look as good. I am however going to make the Proto symbol on the forehead black so it stands out. Thanks for the comments guys.

What kind of paint did you use? I have tried painting plastic but it always seems to chip ofter playing.

I used Plasti Dip. It bends with the mask, and doesn't chip. I have 5 coats on it, and so far it seems to hold up great. The lense frame I used Krylon Fusion, the lense frame doesn't flex so I'm not worried about it chipping or cracking off. It's taken a few hits on the lense frame and there is no sign of it coming off.
