well i just came across the 90* frames for the ion and i was wondering if this would look good.
![]() and i also like this ion slim body shell thing. ![]() now...do any of you think an ion would look good with both of those? would the olive look good with the black? because thats what i want to do. Anyway, if any of you have pics of an ion with the 90* frame please post it, i would like to see what it looks like on the gun... |

If you like the way that a 90* frame feels, then get it. If you are used to playing with a Tippmann, I would stay with the stock frame.

a 90* frame is great for front players, its real tight, or a zgrip!

Get the dynasty body...
Actually no, they're lots of money. Get that body, it's nice. That frame is actually pretty awesome. A new barrel. Edited by Dan db09 - 10 August 2006 at 9:38pm |

lucky stage 5 or stock are the only options in my mind for bodys. the frames dont look that bad. wait about 2 months for the body, lucky will be putting out a few new versions of the stage 5 ranging for around 80-250, this will give you bolt out back ability.

I personally plan on buying the black/blue fade 90* Here is one Ion with the 90* http://www.pbreview.com/productpics/?action=browse&produ ct=4091 New grips and regulator would make it look a lot better. I also want the Foehn(sp?) body, unless I see something better I like. |

so no olive? well i was originally going to get all orange but that was to bright, then i remember how i LOVE the look of the olive pm6, so thats why i chose olive and black...what else would go good with olive? and some of you were saying its pointless to upgrade an ion...well i somewhat agree, i dont want to spend 700 bucks on this gun, i could get a whole new/better gun for that price...

If I decide to get a new body and frame, it would be like the first time I actually payed for looks. I tell people it is pointless to upgrade a Tippmann just for looks because they will spend hundreds of dollars on non performance enhancing items when they could buy a decent tourny marker. I got lucky when I bought my Ion. It had everything it really needed. It was only $185 shipped. The only thing I have upgraded was a new bolt. It had a ccm feed, NDZ blade trig, SP on/off and drop, and a qev. That was a great deal, even if it was used. But I have also been thinking if I should just get the barrel and save up money to get an Alien marker. An interceptor would be nice to have. Edited by RoboCop - 11 August 2006 at 10:14am |

You might want to look into the Warped Sports Dark upgrades. They look sweet, are alil expensive, but they have a guaranteed lifetime warranty, so if you find a beaten up body on eBay or something, buy it and return it to them and they will send you a new one. Thats service! Heres the website http://www.warpedsportz.com/home.html P.S. If you like the olive color, WS does have a gloss olive body kit. Looks sweet! I think that body is an 85 frame, actually...
But 90s are very comfortable when you finally get the hang of using one. |

Don't waste money on those.
Get the things you might actually need like a trigger because the stock one sucks.. Or a barrel.. maybe a feedneck. Board if you want too. |
