I think it's an EGP Pump. Definately the same frame. The pump itself looks modded. Edited by DeTrevni - 14 August 2006 at 5:41pm |

Yeah, the pump arm looks like it's got foam rubber around it.

Your friend should be able to find a better pump for it without a lot of hassle is that one is crap.

Hold on there. Look closer. It's very similar but, the EGP is an "underarm" (under-barrel) cocking gun, and the pump arm on the mystery gun is on the left side of the body. Unfortunately, Vintagerex.com is having server issues (so many of the pics are no longer showing) so, I can't get any more specific other than to say that it's a Nelson based pump. Take a look at what we know:

Hey, i'm styro. too lazy to log into my account so i'm going to use my friend's... upon further questioning, we found out: 1. the barrel is removable 2. it has some custom parts on it (cocking arms and pump are definately aftermarket). I thought it might have been customized to opperate like a nelson based marker, like a carter, but i could be wrong. Also, the trigger frame is painted. 3. i noticed it shares some striking resemblances to a phantom. when you compare this to the base-line phantom, it looks like the parts might be interchangable. also, if we do buy it, we're naming it either: The Pharter or The Cantom.. seeing as it looks like a splice between a carter and a phantom.. get it? |

Then I was right, it is a hybrid EGP. That was my second guess, if it wasn't stock. If you look at the pic, the EGP has a similar pumping system to the Phantom. Oh, you might want to change your friend's sig. It's got some wording in there the mods might not like... |

diablo is an under cocking isent it?
anyways there are at leaste 75 different paintball guns that all use this design most of which used the same m16 style grip... now seeing that there are so many different types out there i dont see a reason in which someone would modify an under cocking to a side cocking style. the handle is mostlikly home made and not "aftermarket". and it looks like its been spray painted. i wouldent pay more than 20$, 25$ shipped... |

What led me to my assumption is the fact that of all the M16 style grips, I haven't seen that particular one on another gun. You can't just look at the grip shape, you have to look at frame curves, printing, angles, and materials. Also, another possibility is the guy selling it bought it broken for a steal and repaired it himself. Perhaps he didn't have the proper parts for the undercocking style, and since parts for old guns are hard to get, he just rebuilt at home. Edited by DeTrevni - 15 August 2006 at 6:28pm |

Hahaha looks almost exactly like a Kingman Hammer except the ASA on the end is slightly different, and different color.
![]() Mine even has the m16 style grips, side cocking, feed neck off to the right. Big difference is the dovetail though, mine goes up more than yours. There's so many other things it could be though... |

the m16 grip comes off of the lower frame (the housing for the sear and trigger) you are right however about the lowers looking the same. |
