I am having issues with my setup. I figure here is a good place as any to post

I have ...
a-5
flatline barrel
male palmers regulator..
crossfire HPA tank - 68/4500 high pressure
LPK
E trigger/ APE board.
clippard QEV + fittings

my issue is that I previously used to run the gun with a response trigger + co2. I just recently changed over to HPA + LPK + E trigger. The only issue I am having is that I cant regulate the pressure going into the gun. I try to adjust the regulator to no avail. I dont know if I am getting exessive pressure coming into the gun from the tank or something because previously I was able to adjust the pressure with a co2 tank.
Is there some sort of reset to do when going from co 2 to HPA. I plan on cleaning out regulator and oil it up tommorrow. Let me know if you have sugestions.

Mr. Stick,

How long have you been playing paintball with this marker? Have you never been told where the button is located that lets you switch between CO2 and HPA? First learn where those controls are located on your marker, then come back and ask specific questions.

Now as for that Palmer Regulator. Probably not going to get much help with that here. Those Palmers are rare and I hear they really aren't very good. You do know, don't you, that when you switch from CO2 to HPA that you have to install the Palmer the opposite way...essentially backwards, to get any pressure regulation out of it.

As for taking it apart and oiling it, Man, you are in uncharted waters there. If I were you I'd send it back to Palmer Pursuit to make sure its is done right. And oil in your regulator! What are you trying to do? Blow it up???

I would suggest you do a forum search to find that conversion button location and a little of the dangers of fiddling with machinery about which you know little.

Note you'll see two Palmers on my marker and I have never been able to figure them out!

I keep hearing that LPK's are very bad for A-5's since they NEED quite a bit of pressure to also power the Cyclone Feeder, I would strongly suggest going HPA instead of LPA, Not sure if I'm right but Low-Pressure Rating is normally 300-500 which your current one with (C02) is about 800 PSI and up
