Cyclone HELP URGENT

Well.. I listend to some of the members here and decided to pop open my cyclone.. big mistake, for some reason I CANNOT get the bottomplate to get back on...help? The piston-rod won't let it go back on..

Nevermind.. got it you just have to put LOADS of force on it to get it on...

um....did you make sure it works after you put it back together? because if you re-assembled it correctly, you shouldn't have to push the bottom plate on......

Yeah, I did, for some reason the bottom didn't want to slap back on... plate has grooves in it.. which go around the over the piston after actually PRESSING on it (first time hard to get back in) now it's very easy to get it on and off, I tested to make sure it worked by simply manually giving it air via pushing the piston in and it cycles fine, I can't test it with AIR since I took all of my hoses off and in preparation for my Maro-Line Kit but I'm sure it's fine. If it wasn't it would not be cycleing at all I would assume.
