Just put a drop forward with on/off and changed to macro line instead of the braided hose. What changes, performance wise, can I expect to have with my A5 now? I know I should now go to HPA instead of CO2, but I've tried it and aside from the tanks being lighter I really didn't notice a great increase in performance to make me want to switch. My current set up is: A5 - WAS Egrip, Double trigger, Flatline, Smartparts Drop Forward w/On-off, Adjustable stock, 20 oz CO2. Edited by ollieb - 26 September 2006 at 1:22pm |

The macro and drop forward won't affect the perfomance of your gun, it's always good to have an on/off, and the drop forward might make your gun fit a little tighter to your body which is a good thing. Make sure your c02 tank is anti siphoned and look for a good expansion chamber or stabilizer if you're going to stick with c02 - nice setup so far |

If you goto a Shocktech DropForward + On\Off Combo, it almost perfectly balances your gun weight wise, Macroline will not increase your performance or anything, it just LOOKS NICER, I have it and love it I however also use an Anti-Siphon tank so that it dosen't freeze up and crack, if you are getting an X-Chamber.. X-Core is the best, I use it, and love it, Heck, if it was possibly, I'd even sleep with it.

That's what it is. Shocktech drop forward and Smartparts ASA. Crud. Hadn't thought about the macro line freezing. Guess I'll have to remember to take my old tombstone adaptor and ASA with me in case that becomes a problem and I run out of tubing. Thanks for that heads up. No problem, I would strongly suggest Anti-Siphoning your tank though... it'll make O-Rings, Seals, and your macro last ALOT longer....by alot I mean like 6x as long.
