Why? There is no point in going through the trouble to do that.

Because Tippmann and APE don't have that type of agreement.

I don't see why there is no point in going through the trouble to do that... I think it would be an excellent idea. However on Tippmann parts you can order an empty E-Grip for $70 and and just slap in a Rampage....however, Tippmann has the E-Grip w\ Was, and then the regular E-Grip (Which I love because Was seems to mess up easily) I don't see why having all three boards avaliable to buy in a ready e-grip is bad thing.. if they just got the APE Rampage, then they have all three...everyone would be happy. Price would be like this though..
Regular E-Grip $100
E-Grip W\ Was $100
E-Grip W\ Rampage $130
I don't have a doubt in my mind that Ape wouldn't team up with Tippmann to make the Rampage go "mainstream" as long as Tippmann makes them a good deal and vice-versa.

While they're at it, Tippmann can sell A-5s with QEVs and Vortex, ones with no Vortex, ones with no QEVs, one's with SRT and a QEV, ones with a q-loader, ones with a q-loader, Ape, and JCS, along  with a drop forward and HPA and a new barrel and new paint and polished internals!

Again, Tippmann does not have an agreement with APE. They are smart and don't see the need to.

I've always thought Tippmann should have included the Vortex with thier A-5s... they are known for duability right? The ratchet in the Cyclone is NOT durable.

Interesting, mine is maybe two-three months, and the ratchet broke last week... and I just finished installing the Vortex today.
