Question and I think I'm in the right section.
I have a 98c Pro w/ R-T and Cyclone installed. Running everything stock with CO2. When I find the "sweet" spot, am I going to freeze up the gun? I've heard some people say they can almost unload their hoppers and the gun will be covered in ice, but never chop a ball, whereas some say that they run with and anit-siphon etc to make the gun work well. Any suggestions or comments. Obviously I haven't even gotten a chance to shoot off my marker since the mods. So any help is appreciated. |

It depends a lot on the weather and just how fast you will be shooting. But most likely you will experience significant freeze with the RT (the Cyclone doesn't really add to that, but it will also be affected by the freeze). You have to try and see. If you find that you are freezing, then you can start adding various anti-freeze mods. Which mod is right for you will depend on personal preferences. |

yeah depends on weather as said above. to fix you could get expansion chamber or switch to hpa as a long term option |

Ok, before i start, im gonna say hey everyone, its been a while since ive been on, what with school and such. now that thats cleared up, i can start.
As has been said, you likely will experience freeze-up if you fire quickly with the RT in moderate to cold temperatures. However, the freeze-up will not necessary become a problem unless you are shooting long ropes. It is not (to my knowledge) detrimental (sp?) to the mechanism to develop frost, but it likely will eventually lock up and you will have to wait for it to thaw out. |

Thanks for the replies. Well I'll be playing in 2 weeks and most likely the weather will be in the low 60's. Should I just be proactive and get an expansion chamber or whatever you all can suggest?
That said, I don't play a lot. Maybe 3-4 X's a year. So I don't intend to switch to HPA and I don't need any crazy mods. Just something functional. |

had to translate that to 16 degrees celcius. thats perfect paintball weather, will be great on the co2 and won't be too hot to be comfortable.
if you only play that often, dont even bother with the expansion chamber. |

Something to think about might be a remote line. These have an expansion-chamber-like effect, while serving another purpose entirely. If you happened to be thinking that a remote would be spiffy, this might help that decision. Of course, if you hate remotes you shouldn't do that.

Thanks for the suggestions. No, I'm not into remotes. I like the bottle to help balance out the gun and use it as a stock. I've been looking around and the Tippmann expansion chamber is $60. After some comments, it looks like I don't need it if I don't go full auto on it often or if at all.
