Pretty compact.  Going to build a curved hopper to help feed shooting up/down hill.

Did you build that? I agree, that hopper doesn't look like it would feed well in any position.

umm, I don't know what to say other than your gun could be much better if you didn't worry about making it compact.  Plus it isn't that compact anyway.

Pfff... with the tank flipped like that, it takes off almost half the length of the gun.

I personaly like that setup and have my tank "Hawaiian Style" as well.

You could easily make the hopper work much better by simply making some custom tilt ramps leading to the middle.

I like the "Hawaiian" CO2 mount. Looks decent so far.

Exactly, with a remote you have to wear a pod belt, and it gets in the way alot. Its all personaly preference, but with a tank, that is the most compact you can get.

I switched my ASA around like that b4.....I have a car-stock my mine....i didnt like the feel to much...it seemed to heavy towards the front....however I did find because of its reverse position...i got less liquid c02 in the valve because when im not shooting..i have the gun in a "ready position..pointing toward the ground....neat innovation of a hopper tho,lol

I used a reversed tank for a while for exactly the same reason; the shoulder point ready carry can create some liquid in the marker problems when using CO2. I've since switched to an intruder foregrip tank mount and a vertical adapter. While I no longer get velocity spikes, I now occasionaly get a complete stoppage. (I'm guessing a freeze up in the x-chamber from liquid CO2.)

if being compact is your ultimate goal here I'd say set up a 12 gram cyclinder bursting mecanism for the 12 gram c02. you can get them from palmers for cheap and run your 98c on 12 grams.

ohh and get the apex barrel, buy the UMS apex adapter and get a 3-4 inch barrel.  You will still have good distance (i heard you still get a little more than regular barrels even though you only have a 4 incher)and I heard the accuracy isn't that bad with that thing. The ball does drop a little though when it exits the barrel but if you want compact you could try that too.
