Well i've had my dm5 for a year, and i figure it's time for something else. I was wondering what y'all think about an 06/07 ego, a quest, or bob longs new gun.
edit: I probably should have made this a poll, but oh well Edited by tyranny - 19 November 2006 at 5:29pm |

I havent heard too much about the Mummy lately. Egos are always nice guns. If I were you, I'd look into an 07 'Borg.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

Wait it out. Then you can see which markers live up to the hype and which fall terribly to the floor.

Does that happen to high end guns anymore? |

Oh yeah. People were all planing to get an Aedes, and now, its no even planning on being made. Also look at the A1, when first released the whole A1 forum was complaining about their markers, but I'm sure it was fixed. All I'm saying is what for real reviews, and even test one out if you can. |

I hadn't heard that bout the Aedes. I'm actually kinda glad, because for awhile there all I ever read on the Nation was "OMG AEDES 29 BPPPS IT PWN EVERYTHING OMG GET AN AEDES YOU $%#$%#$%!!!" So hopefully that's true. A1 wasn't what I'd call a flop. It did have some significant technical problems at first, but they were all fixed. People ogled them when they first came out, and people still do. Joy and Rage are using them and doing very very well. If the gun were a flop, no one would use them or even use them or mention them positively. |

Those are sponsored teams, I would expect them to play with their sponsor's markers. Though I actually had no clue they had WDP sponsorships until now. I thought it would have been Dye or SP, they seem to have every team. But the fact that I had not seen a huge rush to the A1 I think it flopped with all the hype around it. I'm not saying it was bad, it just never got the spotlight it was expected to get. Personally, I think it was because of the scroll. |

Joy and Rage are good enough teams to not be forced into using crappy guns. What is wrong with the scroll wheel? |

Well, its on the grip where your hand is, and when you fire and scroll the marker goes into safe mode and you cannot shoot anymore, this is a common thing among the A1s. I was hoping they would put a cap on it, but no, not yet. |

A software update like a week after the gun came out fixed that. |

Oh thank god. Well, I guess you beat me, the A1 wasn't a total faliure, or a failure at all. Edited by jerseypaint - 20 November 2006 at 8:13pm |
