Think you have what it takes to be a part of a tight knit unit?
got reconnaissance skills? know how to move and shoot?

For this humongous week long event, the German side is looking to expand their dominance by recruiting the best players from around the globe. Our side is not about politics or trench warfare or defending static positions. We're hardcore woodsballers! Period! The Germans have some top notch specialty units that actively seek out and engage the enemy on their own terms. These units include the Brandenburg Kommandos, the 6th Fallschirmjager-Regiment, the 352nd Panzerjager anti-tank unit and of course, the Geisterjägers Sniper Korps.

Having 50 slots, Geisterjagers "Shocka!" are looking for the best players and scenario teams to join our ranks.

    * Mission: utlize the GJ's marksmanship skills to take out officers & high ranking personnel, combine teams to create larger guerilla forces which can support other units if needed or carry out special missions by the German Command when required.

*Tactics: Ambushes, reconnaisance, STA missions, patrolling. Although we're based on a WWII German unit, the GJs run more like a modern day Recon Unit.

*Organization: 4 Different Teams making up the entire unit. The unit has space for walk-ons, small teams and entire scenario teams. Team Center Mass, Green Devils, and veteran scenrio players are what make up the unit's backbone. Rest assured you'll be slinging paint next to your buddies and experienced woodsballers, not a bunch of noobs.

To join the GJ, you must complete the Sniper Course that is given throughout the week before the main game. After which, We'll provide unit training that includes ambush techniques, patrolling and other sniper contact/recognition drills specifically designed for Woodsball. You'll take the field with confidence and leave the game with a victory as well as knowledge of advanced paintball skills that will enhance your everyday play.

Further, being the 10th Year Anniversary this year, the Giesterjager's are awarding a Custom Geisterjager Jersey (used forspeedball or scenerio) and a Axis Subdued Bandana to the unit's top player! The Giesterjager's is the only unit that will be doing this.

The Germans took last year's game by scoring over 3096 points to the Allies' 552 points. Let's do it again in 2007 and make it back to back victories.

Do something different this year, go to Oklahoma D-Day: Be a German Sniper in the Geisterjagers - "Shocka!"
