NJ Nam early bird ends Feb 1st

Who's already registered and for what side? I've got the school bill and books handled so my next paycheck will be going towards registration and possibly securing a cheaper case of paint.

As much as I want to go for a helicopter ride, I'm leaning towards NVA/VC since the forumers I'm aware of are planning on going that way.

This forum needs to field a team and prove that some of us actually still play paintball. My leadership experiance may be lacking compared to some, so I'll keep it simple. I want relativly skilled, if out of practice players with the requisite mind set to knowingly get shot to hell if it means completeing an objective. I plan on fielding a team of players who are otherwise unaffilitated with any teams that will be attending, so I don't expect to do anything too fancy. We've all been frustrated in those scenario games when a charge fails because the majority of the walk-ons just dont want to get shot. We're going to be the ones who make it looks do-able and try to instil some courage into those players.

I'd be more than willing to work in unison with OMHW when they need a distraction, more guns, or an "operation: human shield" type action if we can agree on playing for the same side. Any helpful hints from players who attended last year or who have attended similar 24+ hour events would be appreciated. Good foods to bring, stuff that is often overlooked, etc.

I'd like a tentative forum headcount as well as any hangers on you're bringing. I'm going to convoy with the evil one and bring at least one goon with me. I know it isn't until June, and am well aware that these things have a way of imploding well before game day, but I'll do my best.

I dont think OMHW is making this one in significant numbers I think they only have about 4 guys on the east coast as of latelly. Think Greg Smith is thinking of making it, Don't know if Grand pa' Carr is and the only OMHW that I know for sure is making it is Nobody and maybee Pistol Pete. ShortyBP, myself and some of the guys from my new Team and County from County Sports will be there.

You dont have to be US to ride the bird. There will be two LZ's one for the US side and one for the VC side. Look for me there I'll be there. With a few surprices.

Ah hell....why not. Its about 2 hours from my fiance, and I've still got a fairly decent job.

I'll look into registering (I missed pre-reg deadline) next pay day. I'm not sure if I'll get others to come along, my brother will miss out since he'll be in Germany on his two week drill.

And Red, you'll be hauling from Mass. Right, head down I-87? If so, let me know, I can follow you down. I can meet you right at either exit 16 or at the last service area off the thruway before getting into Jersey, if thats even the route. Anyone else heading that way, it may be good to set up some kind of caravan to prevent us from getting lost.

This is the event that got me back into paintball. It was amazing last year and this year will be even better.

If you live in NJ you dont want to miss it.
