im sure most of us have done it, strapped a ordinary video cam to the top or your hopper......  well so have i.  ive made some pretty sweet videos, but last weekend i was snow-balling and my very expensive digital camera took one right up the lens and broke. killed it permanently.  i  thought tippmann should patent a small video cam that u can easily mount to any hopper for pure paintball use.  maybe even a protective metal shell too.  tell me what ya think

Well I don't think Tippmann is a company that specialises in Digital electronics.  Tippmann might be capable of doing it but there are plenty of small Camera's already on the market.

It is a good idea but I think all you need to do is buy one and make a PVC cover to stop the paintballs from hitting and "killing it".  No real need for metal shell (it's just excess weight) especially if you have strong enough plastic covering it.

yea didnt think about that.  if anything, tippmann could just by some cheap cams and modify them.

ehh I don't know if they are allowed to take someelse's product and resell it as their own.

what would you describe as a "mean" gun? doesn't the player make the gun? i'd rather be playing against a n00b with a dm5 than a world-class veteran pump player with his sl-68II...
