I had to disassemble a power tube to a 98c recently. I broke it down into 3 pieces; Braided hose, plastic tube, metal innards. I put it all back together using yellow Teflon tape to seal the braided hose and now co2 leaks out of the gun through the power tube. I also have some "tplus2" pipe thread sealing that may work but i do not want to use it unless i know that the leak is from the hose connection. Any idea on what coudl be wrong and how to fix it?

Take it out and make sure it's not cracked anywhere. Otherwise try resealing the threads.

usually, when you hear air leaking down the front of the power tube, that's a bad valve seat/dirty valve seat. Make sure you didn't get it dirty and make sure your valve (the metal parts) are put back in the right way, the pin should be facing out the back (large end) of the power-tube assembly. If it is just leaking out around the steel braided hose, my guess is either some teflon tape (I use white) or some blue loc-tite will work well.
