I am going to buy one of these but am not sure which to buy. Please give reasons for your choice!

'98: Extremely customizable, more bolt-ons for it for performance than either of the others. Plus, you have the option of e-bolting it and turning it into a true electro-pneumatic. Add in the fact that it's a standard hopper feed-neck so you can take a hopper with you if you upgrade to a higher-end marker and you've got my main talking points. Not to mention the fact that it's proven with almost 10 years of use.

98 custom lawl....

Yeah, they are the best in the sense that after the a-5 came out they adapted everything that was good about it to the 98 Custom ACT, and made it their best gun again

98 Custom
-J&J Ceramic
-Double Finger Trigger
-Dye Sticky Grips
Current Project
Autocoker
-Fairly crapped right not
-Slowly turning it into a modded Evolution Cocker

oh, you know, nevermind the fact that the vast majority of the "improvements" for the A-5 of which you speak are actually old shelved technology that was adapted to fit the blow-back bleed potential of the CVX valve. All the A-5 really is, are '98 internals is a cheaper, more easily produced shell with the Factory F/A feed system run off of the same pneumatic ram system the '98 RT was designed off of. What other amazing wonders of technology do you wish to attribute to a marker that is really old tech shoved into a mil-simmer's wet dream?

Well I would say the 98Custom ACT Because its light, versatile,TOUGH,  easily customizeable, and also A relief to your wallet... It doesnt cost much... ususally comes in a package with a mask, cO2 tank, a hopper, and squeegies. This pack will leave you with some money to buy a 20oz Co2 tank and a case of paint so you can go pballin right out of the pack!

98 custom, unless you like paying more money for a cooler looking A-5, or enjoy the inability to switch loaders if the cyclone breaks.

98 Custom... very reliable, upgradeable and cheaper than the other two.
