So in AP US we are doing an interesting assignment for homework tonight.  We were given a President, and told to assume they have a cell phone, and to choose an appropriate ring tone (have to be able to explain why it would be applicable) and who are the 5 people he would have on speed dial.

Mine is John Adams.  It isn't too easy to think of the song, the major things with him were the Alien and Sedition Acts, Naturalization Act, XYZ-Affair, and the Quasi War with France.  Since most of you on this forum have a better knowledge of music than I do, I ask for your input.  What do you think his ringtone would be?

And just to cover myself, I'm not asking because I want someone to do my homework for me, I could write a report on Adams if that was what I had to do, but I simply can't really find a song fitting for him.

Analysis of the actual person themselves, not just what they did.  At least thats about the only justification I can think of.

Okay, nobody seems to be hitting on anything good so let me narrow it down and make it easier.

A song that is either:

  • For gaining power over people
  • Anti-immigration
  • Pro-censorship

Pretty much anything modern seems to be completely the opposite.
