Tippmann X-7 Basic
CP 16" One Piece Classic barrel
rubber grips/rail covers

I recently removed the Tippmann logo and am planning to do some OD painting to it.

Do you have any plans for upgrading it further?

Sinister - Ive been debating the vortex upgrades that are available, but most likely wont. Maybe an e-grip when they come out.

Yomillio - the barrel is 16 inches

blackdog - Im actually not too fond of the stocks that are available. They make it difficult to get your head low enough on the gun to aim with a mask on.

I did add more of the covers to the top rail to protect them, also for looks.

I went out today to field test this thing. It was a blast. Played the whole day with no chopped balls (though I never really shoot that fast.)  Only problem Ive had was I hit my barrel on the ground, its a bit too long. I'm just going to live with it and get used to being careful how I carry it while walking to the field. The markers accuracy was quite good, I know there are people out there that are better . I was getting a couple "kills" every 10-15min round, most from 25-40 yards but I did manage to sneak up on a couple of people.
I also noticed that I was able to hide much better than before (before I got partial camouflage clothing, I also speculate that the rubber grips may have broken up some of the straight lines of my marker, possibly disguising it better, who knows. In any case, played for 6-7 hours, got my marker nice and painted. Took me about 10 minutes to break the whole thing down and clean/oil it. I really like this gun, I was getting comments all day about its looks (things like "badass", or "sweet".)

I also just put in an order for a double trigger. And at the moment I'm doing the "clicky-pen trigger mod" to make the trigger pull lighter (just playing around really.)

This is my X7 . It has a 16" CP barrel. I polished the internals (more out of boredom when i had it open for painting.) I'm debating buying the air through stock and a remote airline and painting the stock tan to match. I also want to get black rail covers instead of the OD ones I currently have. Any comments/Suggestions would be great!

I think if you painted the cyclone and hopper it wouldn't have the same cool factor anymore.  Too much of one color.

haha, I like it black. Had I painted it tan it wouldn't have looked as good in my opinion. Also then I would have had to worry about getting paint in the manual feed system.
