Hello!
Due to thievery/destruction by a jerky ex-friend, I have lost the internals of my 98 custom. This includes my power tube AND bolts! I bought my tippmann from a friend and have no idea where or how much replacements will cost! Can anyone help me?! Basically, I would need replacements for everything inside the gun, (aka the front bolt, firing tube, rear bolt assembly, spring, I can probably make a new firing mechanism myself, (since the 98 is so simple). I mean EVERYTHING except the fricken stamped metal that makes the frame and the bolts which hold it together! perhaps if someone could compile a list for me, or possibly direct me to a pdf or something. I went to a paintball shop, and they said I should post on the tippmann forum. |

Oh man! That SUCKS!
A good place to start would be here: http://www.tippmannparts.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.ca talog&categoryID=12 The parts diagram is also linked on that page. Once you have the pieces... it shouldn't be hard to assemble. Although I will say this... it will definitely be MUCH cheaper, to just consider what you have a total loss... and find a used 98 to replace it. For the cost of just the powertube, valve and front bolt... you can probably find an entire used gun. Good luck. |

first off, THANK YOU SO MUCH
not necessarily, because I have access to machine a few things myself. I seriously can't believe they sell thumbs for 10$. The only things I see I will need to purchase are; 8 trigger 4 spring 3.50 front bolt 11 rear bolt 11 power tube 37.50 A lot cheaper than getting a used 98 for 75$ imo. Instead of buying the springs from the site, I will prob just go to my local hardware store and pick them up for about .05$ each. I may even try to see if I can get a working power spring :). |

Solves the internal problem, plus its an upgrade. Bolts can be found at any hardware store for real cheap. |

Getting a LP kit would necessitate a secondary reg though so it would probably be a lot more expensive than just replacing the stock parts.
