Hi everybody, I have a few question concerning my A-5 marker. First of all the description of my marker : Expansion chamber+16 inches All-American barrel. That's it for the modification. Here are the question, I want your comment about the modification I made. I want comment about the barrel I use and what does lenght affect on play ground. Thanks a lot and have a nice day

(sigh) You didn't follow the link that Mack left, did you? Anything over 10"-12" produces more drag on the paintball before it leaves the barrel. This means you have to increase your marker's velocity to get the same results as a shorter barrel which decreases your air efficiency. Anything over 10"-12" is a waste of gas. Also, the longer the barrel, the better chance you'll have a break inside. The All American Barrel? Meh... It's a Smart Parts barrel. There are better ones out there. I agree. Persoanally the only time I would use longer than 12" is on my autococker for sound reduction. On the A5 though it gets way too long because the barrel sot so far forward as it is.

(sigh) This is one of the reasons there are certain people on the forum that I ignore when they ask for help. My theory is if I try to help someone once and they don't listen (note: I didn't say "agree," I said "listen") then they are on their own. |

Be nice! I'm sure he meant that in a non-creepy, platonic, manly-respectful kind of way. |
