Ghetto ghost ring. I like it though, I've been contemplating making one for my SL.

Dang, I forgot about the powerfeed taking the hopper over to the left side when I suggested a vertical PVC stick feed in the other thread.  If your right handed, that could be an issue.  (Of course. I also assumed you were right handed as well.)

You should be able to remove the ASA and hose and mount the 12 gram adapter directly into where the other end (the ASA/hose adapter) goes into the marker.  When you do this, you should discover a small part that looks kind of like a disk made of sandstone.  It is a CO2 filter; I found that my marker worked better without it, but you will need to test that for yourself.

If I remember right, on the lower front of the marker just under the barrel is a plug with what looks like a large screwdriver slot.  You can use a quarter to do this and get access to the front of the valve.  Do not remove this part unless you absolutely have to as it; there's normally no reason for it and it's just asking for trouble.  I only mention it because it is important to make sure the cover is tight.  (They can work loose.)

This would be a lot easier if the link I had to a manual/schematic was still valid.  You should have a lot of fun with this marker, with the exception of the main spring issues I considered the S.O.B. to be superior to the Spyders of the same era.

i was already planning on putting a 12gram changer in that place. dont know what you meant about being right handed but what ever... by the looks of how i have to put the scope on i have to tile it a bit so the balls should just roll down. the way i see it, hold with right hand load with left... i can change hand when shooting and only sacrifice a little accuracy anyways.i normally do when i round corners

Does the ghetto ghost ring (good job by the way*) set in the opening on the power feed?  If it does, you want to make sure it doesn't interfere with feeding.

The right left hand comment had to do with which eye would be looking down the barrel (for aiming) during use.  (I was of course assuming you'd be using it pistol style with either a weaver or isosceles type stance.)  If you are using the right eye for aiming, the feed on the left may interfere with your overall field of view more than it would on the right.

*I always appreciate an effective ghetto-mod.

Additional item.  I was able to slide a Spyder sight rail right on to mine.  You should be able to do the same.  (I don't remember the milling on the top rear tube, but it was quite a while back that I traded my S.O.B. off.)
