No i got it online. It seemed pretty nice. All metal (not plastic) and have seen people pull it off with the flatline barrel online. Just not sure how.

Lets see The Flatline is i guess two pieces--This one and the scope the cross bars seem to be one the same level It really seems like the clamp is too big to fit on the rail. I asked some guy and he said something about a 'dovetail' style attachment. But i have no clue what that means Edited by Sicilian - 07 May 2008 at 6:18pm |

There are several types of attachment systems for sights:
![]()
![]() Sights for the two types of rails are not interchangeable. The picture of the Flatline at your link is fuzzy but it looks like an older model based on the rear sight and apparent lack of a weaver rail. (It should have two pieces; the metal barrel and a plastic shroud.) These barrel shrouds came with a single 3/8" dovetail rail molded into the top. I found an example of the DBB130 sight at this location. Immediately to the left of the DBB130 is a similar sight designated the DBB130/3 (Dovetail) which leads me to believe that the model you purchased is probably set up for a weaver rail. I don't think your sight is compatible with your marker. However, the only way to be certain of this is for you to post actual pictures of your equipment. If this indeed the case, you can find adapters that will let you use the sight. Edited Note: Another option if you actually have a problem. I should have remembered to add this as I had to use this solution for a similar issue a few years ago. I went to a sporting goods store and bought a weaver rail that looked generally the right shape and size. I used the dremel to drill a couple of holes in the top of the Flatline shroud, then attached the rail with small screws, nuts, and washers from the hardware store. I used to have a picture of the installation, if I can find it I will post it. Edited by Mack - 07 May 2008 at 6:41pm |

I wouldn't buy a new scope. I found the picture of the rail I added so I'll post it first. (By the way, this is a good example of what the top of the old Flatline rails looked like.)
![]() You can check a local sporting goods store and maybe find something along these lines or could also check for more paintball specific products. Edited by Mack - 07 May 2008 at 7:18pm |

There are probably cheaper adapters, I just posted the first one that
showed up in my web search and had a decent picture. Someplace around
here I have a two-part adapter system that I purchased at Scheel's
Sporting Goods for another project and only paid about $8.00 for. If
you look around, you can probably find something inexpensive as well.
I don't think I spent more than $12.00 for all of the parts it took to make the homemade adapter in the picture of the 98 I posted. |

I might buy a adapter off ebay or just get a weaver rail from dicks and screw it into the flatline barrel. Was what you did easy?
