You should get the MR2 spyder with eye.

Pilots had the proprietary ASA threading. The Imagine accepts standard threading. Plus, I like the simplistic looks of the Imagine better.

I will not talk you out of a spyder(I actually like them). However I will suggest a different model. Instead of getting the refurbed one why not get a NIB pilot with free sticky grips for $79.99. Edited by CarbineKid - 10 August 2008 at 12:34am |

I know you have all that stuff. Thats why I made those suggestions. A Spyder Imagine seems too simple and common for you to buy, and did you get rid of cocker with the Osiris kit? There is a rainmaker in ebay right now.

You don't know me very well, do you? :)
I've owned about 7 Rainmakers with about every board available for them (from Thunderboard LCD to Painmaker), 2 pump Rainmakers, an E-Mag, and I currently own a K-Framed Sheridan PGP (non cartridge valve) and a Sheridan KP-2 DF. I used to own a PMI-II that had been Cooper-T'd to the max. Not to mention, a whole bunch of other "tinkerables." Amongst them, Pro/Carbines, Raptors, various 'cockers (including a Ripper) and a '99 Shocker Turbo. I'm not necessarily looking for unique right now. I've got that covered. However, I'm now looking for another Rainmaker to build up. So, yeah. Edited by DeTrevni - 06 August 2008 at 4:28pm |

You could put the spyder imagine money towards the purchase of something much more unique, or tinkerable. Such as: Sheridan PGP etc... |

You should save your money and buy the Angel that you've always wanted if you just want something to play with. Hell, you could probably find an IR3/LCD for just over $150. And if you did want to save up more, there's always that G7 Fly... .

I like the Primal for the "just freakin' play with me!" factor it's got. I mean, there's practically no aftermarket for it, and there's not a lot I can mill off, so just basically, I'll have it to fling paint.

What would you do with a Primal?
EDIT: Like project, just play, etc. Thought that I would clarify. Edited by Yomillio - 04 August 2008 at 12:09pm |

Okay. PGP shoots great, K-Frame is beautiful, and I've got more money to spend. Once again, Kingman is calling me. Those Raven Primals are also nice, and those are EP.
Well, kind of. They're FASOR, but still. They're only $150 shipped... |

Confession time. I've been wanting a PGP for the sole purpose of K-Framing it. :)

Yeah, K-Frames are so friggen' cool. Shame I could have 2 or 3 PGP's for the price of one single K-Frame. I only think I could justify Palmerizing if I fall in love with the gun, which I'm kinda hoping I won't because I might as well just light all my money on fire if I do...
Its absurd how much of a money pit a little brass pump pistol can be. That being said, I think thats where the rest of my money for this summer is heading. *Another sigh* Edited by Yomillio - 17 July 2008 at 1:23pm |

Hah. Yeah. First comes a Sergison K-Frame. Then comes Palmerizing. I'd like to get it stroked, but God that's expensive...

Haha, now we can have PGP wars if/when I ever come down to Texas . I'm sure my purchase didn't help your saving money cause any.
Just say no to an Imagine, you have two things needing Palmerizing! And that being said, I think I'm going to go and try to make my BE Avenger (Spyder clone) into a pistol. *Sigh* Edited by Yomillio - 17 July 2008 at 1:10pm |

And on top of all that, I'm working on a Rainmaker, KP-3, Raptor, Pro Carbine and SL-68 II. Oh, and my old Stingray II. Oh yeah, and I've got an E-Bolt project.
And I just bought a PGP. |

I disagree. The Ver-C T-Board kit, with lighter microswitch and eye is only about $80 for it all. Throw in some delrin internals, drop the operating pressure, and you have a very nice blowback off the Imagine platform.
Though I am thinking about getting an FBM body, but I'm not hearing good things about FBM right now... |
