Have you ever tried the JT Flex 8?
I can hear fine out of it, and it saves me from getting tagged in the back of the head... Or popped in the ear. I love that mask.
I also have a few regular flex 8 (not the full) and since i use a camera on my mask, the full helmet works better holding the weight of the cam without moving around.
I prefer the full helmet anyday over the face shield only. It is a little hotter, but the protection... makes it worth it.
Course, I'm a safety pup, I wear a neck guard, 2 types of knee pads, shin pads, good high boots, gloves, and a cup as well.
At my age, I need all the padding I can get...

Not exactly high action pics, but it's all I really have:
Looking rather Sasquatchish in this one. The dreads on the bottom of the mask may not be the most attractive, but havent taken a throat shot since I put them on.

 Me & my A5 at Velocity's Christmas scenario in Ramona, CA. It's got a Pinokio hopper and an MBAD (Multiple Barrel Attachment Device). They are both awesome additions to an already awesome marker. |

My daughter and my Marine buddy on a push on the Russian held town. He's shooting his new/used A-5 with CarStock, E grip with APE board and x7 low profile hopper on a remote with a 48/3000k tank. My kid shooting my carver one.

I can't; I might fall and break a hip. Seriously, while I don't mind cold weather, the dry cold we get makes it hard to even use the winter formula paints.
