Is it possible to make a paintball vest out of a Backpack/Thin jacket and a harness?  I meen it wouldn't take much, just to have somebody I know sew the pouches on the back of it, make a couple of extra pouches, and put some velcro on it so I could put like a tank on it.

Anything is possible. It will most likely look super ghetto, but if it functions just for what you want, then go for it.

you may be better off starting from scratch. If you can visualize how to put it together, go for it.

If you want to do a ghetto vest with less work, check out the end-of-season close-outs that Wal-Mart and similar places do on fishing vests.

Kk, I'll think about how I want to put it together first, Of course it'll look

super ghetto, but it'll probably be cheaper than buying one.

Why go ghetto?  MOLLE systems are ubiquitous and can be cheap.  Effort can be fun, though.  Post pics.

Hmmmm. I'm not gonna make my own. I found one that was on sale for about $50, like $40 cheaper than origional price, so I'll just buy that one.

Might have been fun to make your own you know.
Here's mine, built it 6 years ago. Haven't seen one like it yet and probably never will, except for the clone I'm makin'.

it doesnt look like he did much at all. it looks like all he did was attach a camelback to an LCE(i think thats what they used to call them before they got the LBV). and it looks like he might have cut some pods down to fit

o and added a remote
