Hello, I just bought a new x7 designated marksman package...I just fired it today at a target roughly 30 feet away and every 2/5 balls hit the target...This was on single shot, the website said effective range 150 feet. I was aiming fine because it would sometimes fire right and hit dead on...but sometimes the balls would flank right or left...sometimes they would come out broken. I use co2 and bought some Inferno balls from Dicks Sporting Goods. Any help? |

Check your velocity, make sure your barrel is clean and consider a barrel upgrade. Stock ones are pretty poor at best and usually most people replace them as a first upgrade. With that said, they should have been at least fairly accurate at 30 feet.

it is most likely the velocity (as said above) in my experience tippmanns usually come at an extremely high velocity. you will want to chrono it. if you dont have one a local field should and you can usually chrono there for ree. you want it to be at about 280 fps. Also the barrel probably isnt the best. A lapco or a J&J are awesome barrels at decent prices.
