Ok, so in short I'm wondering if anybody knows what the cyclone feed will feed maxed out with the total techT package, vortex mod, lightning rod, QEPH, and squichy paddles. I know alot of you probably have your cyclone feed upgraded and was wondering what the max BPS you shot with it was.
I'm asking this because I've gotten my super response trigger to lay down some serious poundage recently. I recorded me shooting and checked the sound wave, and counted it out to be around 26 bps, pretty damn fast, now I'm not sure if I want it that fast though. I've got the 1/8 hoses, hair pin trigger kit, fang trigger, zero kick hammer, and maddmann spring kit, and I can proudly say the response trigger is pretty crazy. I cannot however, say that I'm too proud of my cyclone feed. Before when I was shooting around 17bps with my Super RT, my cyclone feed would misfeed, and at times seemed as if it could not keep up, and that was with the entire techT hookup, minus the squishy paddles at the time. My cyclone feed seems it will either get a ball half fed and I will half to recock, or will will chop the living gravy out of my paintballs. Now I know this is quite likely to be expected running around 26bps but it seems my cyclone feed still doesn't run like I think it should even around 20bps, or even a little lower. I'd think having all those upgrades on my cyclone feed would have it running like a champ. I just want to have my cyclone feed running near flawless, not having to recock or clean my barrel out for god sakes, no one wants that. So liek I asked.. 1. What is the max BPS feed rate you guys get out of your cyclone feed? 2. Anyone running a cyclone feed over say 16bps, does yours feed near flawlessly in terms of keeping up?

That includes the QEPH? I would think that with the upgrades it would be able to keep up with 17bps. I haven't upgraded my cyclone at all and it'll keep up with 14 which is as fast as I can fire.

Yep with the QEPH. Yea, I'd think it'd chew through 17bps with no problem what so ever. I've seen alot of videos online with people ripping high rates of fire with em too and they run perfect. Maybe I just need different grease? I dunno. I guess I'll find the problem eventually. I'm still just wondering how well everyone else runs.

wile i dont run this normally, mine can comfortably go 20 bps without catching. That is with only the JetClick. I didnt go for long and had good paint but it seemed to work just fine. I keep mine at 13 bps for events, I just cant imagine needing more than that.

I read ya. I'm wondering what my problem is. I have 2 guesses for why my cyclone's not keeping up, back me up if it sounds reasonable.. A. I need a better grease (I don't quite think that's it). B. I may need to strengthen the spring inside the cyclone feed vortex mod. My cyclone spins, but I did read somewhere that a guy brought up the idea that with the combined usage of all of the techT cyclone mods the axle in the cyclone feed may overspin and lead to more paint chopping. While I feel I cut that inner spring to the correct length, would an improperly cut spring lead to that much problems?

it could yes... frakly thats why i liked the JCS JetClick more than the TechT... you dont have to cut the spring. If you have all of the upgrades on there take them off one at a time and put each one back on, test it, put the next on, test it, and so on so forth. it may be a part or it may be the spring. Also how many kinds of paint did you try. if its always the same paint try a diff one. could be a bad batch.

Alright, yea I'm gonna have to do some trial and error and see what the problem is. The paint I suppose could be a possibility, but I sometimes have to recock it, and recently at 20bps+ it's been acting like a real blender, something I really don't expect of the cyclone feed.
