I'm hoping someone could help me with this.  Well, today I took apart my a-5 to clean it and maintain it, but I'm putting it all back together, and am not sure on how the cocking rod-spring is suppoes to go on.  Is is suppose to get caught in a groove, or is it fine when you just set it in? Thanks for the help.

When you put everything back together, the cocking rod spring should lay just above the power tube.  There is a groove for the rod and spring and there should be tension but very little on the spring when you lay it in there.
