Going to be a little difficult to have accurate results considering the TPX still hasn't been released. You may want to hold off until it actually comes out and there are some reviews on it. |

I'm deffinately really interested to see it. I want to get my hands on one, take it apart and mess around with it. I realy wish Tippmann would at least put up the owners manual on the site so I could get a look at the insides.
played around with a Ti8, it was so-so and for it's price it should load itself too...

Not really sure. I'm still not particularly fond of the prices of paintball pictols. Under like 20 shots worth of paintballs and CO2 and over $100 bucks for most of them that I've seen. I'll consider it depending on the price when it comes out though.

The price is going to be $219. It gets over 20 shots.
On that note, all of my pistols (I've got 4) get well over 20 good shots on a 12ie.

$219?! Ok, no way I'm buying that then. Why are they so much money? Tough to mass produce or something?

compact parts. The Tib 8 is so expensive because it has a built in reg and its blowforward, like an automag

indeed.
um, thats not expansive at all, thats cheap compared to the tibirus 8, the tpx magazines are alot cheaper too, you can get approx 3 tpx mag's for the price of one tib 8 mag.
basicly tippmann made the pistol better and cheaper in price. what did you expect from such a small compact gun. Edited by kurieitaa - 27 April 2009 at 2:08am |

I'm just saying I'd rather go out and buy another tippmann and hang that from my side than spend 219$ on something that's gonna give me 20 shots and probably not be all that accurate.
I'm not saying it's no good, just not worth $219 IMO. Although if you got the money to spend it looks like a little fun, or for show.

I find it amazing that so many people think that just because it's a pistol that is should be cheap. It has to perform the same function, but in a smaller package, thus higher engineering/production costs.

True dat. IMO 219 is extremely reasonable. I dropped about 169 for my ACP2.0 when it came out, and it was worth every cent. a little more money for a gun that will possible be even better? What the heck I'll bite.
Thankfully the local pro shop usually lets you get all touchy with their guns and they will be getting some in ASAP. I'll have to start putting some scratch aside for this little bundle of joy.
Any word on the mag prices? With the pistol mags w/o built in CO2 they should be pretty affordable... and I've had my eye on a nice army surplus vest that it would go great with...
