I recently bought a guerrilla 4500/48ci tank with a myth regulator. I was trying to set my response trigger over the weekend and found that at 1500 PSI it went into auto fire until the gun ran out of air. I am thinking it is because the regulators output is set to low and there was not enough blowback to cock the bolt. Does anyone know what the stock setting is for the Myth regulator? The store I bought it from is without significant knowledge for the day as their tech is out. I thought they mentioned it was like 400-450 which is fine but I think the last 1500 PSI is useless for the airhog 98 custom I have. No big deal but I think I need the spring kit to up this to at least 600 PSI for the response to properly work as I also have a cyclone hopper. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Sounds like you may have gotten a low pressure tank. If the req is set at 400-450, you will need to exchange it for a high pressure one. Tippmanns are designed to operate at around 750-850psi. If you get much lower than 600, you may notice the RT and Cylcone not working properly. Edited by oldpbnoob - 11 June 2009 at 2:55pm |

Thats what I thought as well. Looks like I will be getting the spring kit. I was shooting like 25 BPS when the pressure hit 1500PSI, kinda funny but not cool on the field.

Are talking about a spring kit for the requlator or the marker? I don't think a heavier main spring for the marker is really going to help. You need to have a high pressure regulator. If you want to keep the LP reg, you will have to look inot getting an Low Pressure Kit. Sometimes, these can be a pain to work with an RT and Cyclone.

I am talking about the regulator, not the gun.
