Ive been tinkering around with this on and off for a couple months. It started with the flattop adapter I machined (Which was a pain by the way). At the time I built the top adapter, I didnt have any weaver rail laying around. Then the side rails from Project Salvo made it all come together (And the Salvo looks sweeter with X7 side rails instead)

I also need to do something about the missing trigger guard. It was chopped ages ago when I had a double trigger on there.

Note the original Safety-Stop on there, I think its the second one I ever made Big smile

Suggestions to make it even cooler? Im trying to keep it relatively minimal, but it does need something. Im just not sure what yet.

Clean
You should Lightly paint "The Shenk"  on the sides, but just enough so you can only see it when the light hits it just right

That gun would look cool with spikes on it.  Stainless t-nut ice pick studs would work well.

I'd like to see the asa milled a bit and clear.

After re-assembly and a 1/4" ball pass on the flattop to add a bit of curve to it. Also a polish job on the flattop and reciever and a coat of clear enamel.

Also tossed the Project Salvo sights on there and I actually like it.

Definately needs new screws and bolts. Oh, as a note the thing is already milled for RT as well, maybe I should drop it back in there...

I'd love to see some polished aluminum grip panels on there Enos.

Polish them up and then have a trophy shop put Shenk or whatever on there.

Good idea. I whipped up a set to see how they would look, Im pleasantly suprised. Theyre way too thin, all I had laying around was some .125" thick plate. I DID find a chunk of aluminum diamond plate just barely big enough to make 2 grip panels, then I screwed up and cut 2 right side panels. Doh.

I also figured why not and dropped the RT back in there.

It's ok, I just spent all night down in the basement starting my Ebolt project that I have been putting off for months after checking out this thread.  Damn you Enos.

if you wanted to milsim it a bit, a silencer, tac light, or ammo mag wold look sick, especialy if you painted the magezine silver. It's lookin great so far, and the great thing is, you can do alot more customization with it.

 keep up the good work
