What would be the benefits of putting a Jackhammer on an otherwise stock autococker?

Also can anyone take a guess at what psi the reg is set at from the factory on an 05 super stock.

Jackhammer will let you sweet-spot the re-cock pressure which can keep you from chopping a ball if you can get it low enough. This usually requires a high-flow (low pressure) valve and a new set of springs as well, but I've seen good results even with stock springs and valve. Jackhammer's aren't the best when it comes to adjustable LPRs though. I highly suggest looking at AKALMP or Palmer's products instead unless you're on a tight budget.

I have a jackhammer sitting on my bench right now.
What psi do you think the reg is set at from the factory?

On the primary reg?  I thought that it was much higher.  I need to look into options for a gauge

No, the jackahmmer is sitting at that. The in-line (HPR) reg is probably sitting around 600psi. The LPR at stock is sitting around 150-200psi depending on the valve and spring setup. You have to specify which reg when talking about pressure with a 'cocker.
