I'm relatively new to paintball, and I'm not sure what's best for my gun. I have a Tippmann 98 Custom ACT Platinum Series. I was thinking:

-Response Trigger
-Flatline Barrel

Is that best for my gun? I have no idea what kind of hopper to get though. Your help is much appreciated.

Polish your internals (video on youtube)

R/T  or e-grip more preference I like E-grip

I like the 14 in night stick for barrel

For hopper upgrade to cyclone, if you don't wanna go that route i reccomend the dye rotor quick as hell and easy disassemble

Read through the forum and the stickies at the top of each one. One in particular covers upgrades and explains them in detail. My suggestion is to go out and play several times before doing any major upgrades. However, you cannot really go wrong in upgrading the barrel. Depending on what you are looking for out of the marker, you may or may not want the flatline. Just to be clear, it will not give you uber sniper ability! It will increase range, but at the cost of accuracy. For a good all around barrel, look into a J&J Ceramic series or even an Elite Edge kit.  Lapcos seem to be widely recommended here as well, though I haven't used one. You don't need to spend a fortune on a barrel for it to be an improvement over the stock one.

Read up and see if your questions are answered.
