Side-story: I was actually visiting a friend as she came back into the city, and when I went to her house, her family was watching Toy Story. We sat there for about 5 minutes watching it as we chatted, and we ended up watching the movie for the next 40 minutes.

Awesome movie.

I watched Toy Story on saturday and have been waiting for 3 for a couple of months now and the only trailer I have seen for it explains nothing and we still have awhile to go before it hits theaters.
Boondock Saints 2 is something I really want to see.

Not at all. It is our generation that saw it for the first time.

As a matter of fact I was talking to my girlfriend about this the other day.

We are at the point where people who were little kids when they saw the first Toy Story are now old enough to have children they could take to a theater to see Toy Story 3.

It frightened me a little bit.

It was the same with TMNT. Except that isn't so much a kids movie.

I dunno. I've got a mix of nostalgia, and a blind, trusting faith in Pixar, but I hate sequels, and I've got "cash cow" concerns here. At least they got the same voices. It's quite big-name...

I hope they don't butcher it.

Same here. Pixar is an amazing company, but third in line sequels are almost always bad karma. But a few franchises have pulled it off, and hopefully this will mean a Toy Story trilogy on Blu Ray...

Pixar hasn't failed yet. After Wall-E came out, Pixar had made 9 films that had made more than all 23 James Bond films total, or all of the Star Wars films in total. They even beat all 4 Indiana Jones + All 3 Matrix + all 3 Mission Impossible movies.
