Does anyone make a barrel for the SL 68?

Are there any company that make aftermarket barrels for the SL-68II??

But just to make you feel bad, I think I paid less when I bought mine.

Of course, that was when these were just excess barrels for a marker that was no longer made*.  Having the new SL 68 II come out changes things a bit.

As an alternative I have seen two instances where people with aftermarket barrels for different markers ground down the threads/cut down the length (of the part that goes into their marker) to make themselves custom SL barrels.  (I imagine you would have to find a barrel that was the right outside diameter at the breech end to do this though.  It wasn't something I felt like dealing with.)

Edited Addition:  Just a bit of info:  Most of the paint I have rolls right through this barrel.  However, because of the way the barrel mounts on the marker, the "tape mod" is quite effective.  I cut a narrow strip (two actually, one wasn't thick enough so I put one on top of the other) and wrapped them around the end of the barrel.  By "wrapped" I mean the tape extends about an inch into the barrel, wraps around the edge and then extends about the same distance on the outside of the barrel.  Having it both in and out like that helps keep the balls from loosening the tape and shooting it out the end of the barrel.  If you line the tape up so that it goes between the barrel clamps at the front bottom of the marker body, the body does not really interfere (cause tape bunching/wrinkling) with installation at all.

*I actually bought the barrel well before I bought the SL 68 II.  I knew I wanted an SL eventually and didn't want to not be able to find a barrel once I got it.
