First time poster, tried searching for the answer but didnt find it anywhere. Need some help/advice... I used to have an old model 98 with an m4 adjustable stock, then I got rid of the gun and kept the stock for my new 98 Custom Pro, problem is that the stock wont work in the new marker, anybody know why? A local store said it something with different internal parts. Anybody have some input on this. Thanks

If the marker has ACT, the stock probably doesn't have the second hole the end cap has above the hole for the mainspring and guide pin.

Also, some of the newer bodies have a little "notch" molded into them that fits a matching piece in the stock to keep them from rotating.  If the old stock is not set up for that, it may not work.

I dont believe this one has the ACT. How can I find out? Should I just bring it to a local shop and have them look at it. Do most of the stocks nowadays compatible with this marker?
