Well, then I'll take this opportunity to show off my Redux again. See OP. |

Redux . . .
. . . when you positively, absolutely; have to turn around a failed post. Edited Addition: You really should turn this into a "Inside the Redux" post since you have it here anyway. (You know; diagrams, explanations, walk-through, etc.) Edited by Mack - 18 June 2010 at 5:48am |

It just so happens I've got a few of those pics in my Photobucket account.
For those that don't know, a little history. The Redux is one Steve Brett's (AKA: mOngo's) tribute to the classic Kamikaze Shooter, or DD68 Desert Duck. The Duck has a long (and given the premature death of the original creator David Loo, a slightly tragic) history. An original Loo Duck sold on eBay for $8,000 to give you an idea of value. Mr. Brett created the Redux as a faithful and far improved replica. However, just because it is a replica does not make it "common." My gun was hand built in a small shop in California, is only number 22 of ~40 ever made, is currently the only gloss black one, and cost $1,110, and the prices are increasing. It's Nelson based, using a fairly modified set of Lapco and Phantom internals, and a Freak bored barrel system. Pics away! First, the slide itself is the pump handle.
