I have 98 custom platinum and i recently went to my local paintball field and when i was getting my gun chronoed it was firing different fps everytime i shot the gun.  they need it at 280 and when i would shoot one shot would be 240 then 260 then down to 230.  i am using compressed air through a remote hose. i put oil where teh cocking pin is and i also oiled where the hopper feeds into the. is there somewhere else i should oil or add more oil or what??  the gun shoots good just not consistent.  thanks alot

Definately try that. Troubleshooting at it's core is eliminating possible causes until you narrow it down. Always start with the air source, remove the remote and try it. If it's still acting up, borrow a buddies tank and try that to eliminate the tank as a possible cause.
