[size=150]It is with great pleasure that we can announce the launch of the Super6.

The Super6 is an unprecedented development in UK paintball, seeing some of the biggest names in the game coming together to host a series of weekend long paintball festivals throughout the 2011 season.

The events will be held at some of the best paintball facilities in Europe, attracting players from all over the continent and run by the best event organisers the game has to offer.

The series will also benefit from enormous support from the industry, with more manufacturers and traders present and supporting the series than has ever been seen before.

Each of the event organisers will be pooling their resources to ensure that each leg in the series offers a better quality experience and the best possible value for the players attending.

So what can players expect from a Super6 event?

-           A full weekend of paintball for the same price as a normal one day event

-           Hundreds of players – each leg will be a genuine Big Game weekend

-           Some of the UK’s best paintball facilities

-           The UK’s best event organisers, each an industry professional with years of experience

-           Free tech classes

-           Multiple Traders, manufacturers and vendors

-           Free tech support for most major brands

-           Free equipment workshops

-           Free Super6 Academy

-           Free Super6 Home Team Challenge

-           Free HPA Safety Training and Pass Cards issued at the event

-           Super6 TV – a 30 minute TV show from each Super6 leg

-           Teams of professional photographers covering each leg

-           Free Player Party on Super6 Saturdays

-           Standardised ticket price – same price for all Super6 events

-           Standardised game rules (i.e. chrono limits, fire modes) across all Super6 legs

-           Vastly improved quality in catering with price limits in place to protect players

-           Improved bathroom facilities, permanently manned and cleaned all weekend

-           Fast track registration – less than 90 seconds to register

-           Fixed team of head marshalls across all Super6 events – more consistent marshalling

-           The Super6 girls!! Our team of Super6 models will be present at all Super6 events

-           Scores of overseas players

-           UK’s safest ever events

-           UK’s biggest ever prize pool with over £10,000 worth of prizes to be given back to the players!!

-           The Super6 Awards – trophies to be awarded at the end of year Paintball Awards

-           The priceless Super6 Golden Gun to be won! A 24 carat gold handmade Angel Ark marker. The only one of it’s kind in the world, comes in its own handmade display case!

The Super6 is not a revolution for paintball, but the intention is that it is the start of the evolution of the woods based game.

The aim is two fold and fairly simple. Firstly, Super6 wants to eliminate the 'lottery' that many players have experienced in recent times when purchasing event tickets. All too often, events have fallen short of their billing, with less facilities, less players and less value than players were led to believe would be on offer when they paid for this ticket.

Secondly, Super6 aims to take all the components of an event and make them 10% or 15% better. Registration will be slicker, food will be better quality and cheaper, toilets will be cleaner, marshalling will be more consistent, staging will be greater, game times will be longer, Saturday will offer more activities and value, there will be more overseas players, bigger and better prizes, better event videos etc. Taken on their own none of these will change the game, but taken as a whole, they'll move the game forward significantly in terms of quality and value for the players. Over the course of several seasons, players will see a quantum difference in the quality of events when compared to pre-Super6 days.

The Super6 promises to be a safe pair of hands for player’s hard earned ticket money. A banker event where players will know exactly what they’ll get before even arriving. Players can expect the UK’s safest events, with top quality HPA, permanently manned and cleaned toilet facilities. Computerised registration systems, plasma multimedia display screens and Super6 TV. Higher quality catering offering proper hot and cold meals at capped prices. Multiple manufacturers offering tech classes, tech support and on-field back-up for their customers where they need it. Players can expect the best people, at the best locations all working together with the wider support of the paintball industry to produce the best possible events for the 2011 season.

All players will recognise the value that traders bring to an event. Not only do traders offer essential supplies, but they also offer support and technical assistance for your equipment right where you need it – at events. Super6 events will be trader paint only games. This means that all paint used will be purchased from the traders at the events. All brands will be available from a choice of multiple traders starting at £22.50, so there is no restriction on what paint players can use and paint prices at Super6 events will not be any higher than what players could expect to pay elsewhere. Most players will agree that supporting the traders who support events is a sensible and fair policy. All traders are welcome to attend and support their customers at Super6 events.

Who are the organisers?

Niall Squire – Campaign Paintball

Niall is the owner of Campaign Paintball, widely regarded as one of the best sites in the UK. As one of the most experienced event organisers in the UK, Niall has run events as diverse as legs of the Millenium Series to his successful annual Time Wars scenario event whilst hosting several televised paintball projects.

Andy Sables – YPC / Fat Bobs

Andy is the owner of Fat Bobs paintball store, the Talkpaintball forum as well as the Yorkshire Paintball Centre, one of the most established and best loved sites in the UK. Andy’s WOR scenario paintball events started all the way back in 1992 and YPC has hosted over 25 woodland tournaments during that period.

Tim Barnett – Shoreline Paintball / Corporate-Killers

Tim is the owner of Shoreline Paintball and is the UK’s only professional national paintball promoter with a portfolio of scenario events and Big Games across the UK which includes the UKPSF Big Game and Tippmann Challenge. As well as a paintball site in Wales, Tim also owns a paintball travel company which specialises in paintball trips overseas as well as online store Corporate-Killers.

Ged Green – NPF/WDP/NPPL

Ged is the founder of WDP (makers of the Angel) and of the NPPL series and owner of National Paintball Fields (NPF), one of Europe’s biggest and best paintball facilities. Ged has been organising woodland tournaments, sup air tournaments and scenario events since the early days of paintball and is widely respected by all in the industry.

All four organisers are passionate about scenario and Big Game paintball and all recognise that now is the time to really push Big Game weekends onto the next level. Value for money, safety and the quality of the event for players has all too often been pushed aside in recent years, but the organisers behind the Super6 believe now is the time for an injection of investment in the game to improve the quality and value of events for attending players.

By coming together, these organisers have been able to put in place a blueprint for events that will see Scenario and Big Game paintball come right into the 21st Century whilst providing players with much more ‘bang for their buck’. The Super6 will be a safe pair of hands, a banker for the players. Players will know what they can expect before they even arrive at each event.

For the past couple of years now, we've been attending events all over the country, with some very mixed results. It'll be nice to have a set of games which should set a high standard. We're very excited about this Super6 set of events, it looks to be raising the bar of scenario paintball once again, and things can only get better for the player

I like the idea of a series of paintball events, time effectively spread throughout the year, promising to deliver player satisfaction and value for money...Who doesnt??!

Everyones sick of hearing it but the current economic climate has hit all of us hard. Event organisors have to provide well organised and good value events or players simply won't be able to justify spending money on the ticket. Good on you Super6 for realising this and rising to the challenge!”

Some of the UK events are 5 years ahead of what we have here in Europe. The games are so much better. We’ll travelling over from Holland for most of the Super6 games in 2011. We know of many other teams in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany who are all also intending to use the UK Super6 series as the base for their 2011 calendar. Looks like these will be the big thing in Europe next year. The Jackels will see you on the field!
