I currently have a 98 Custom with an Apex barrel and M4 stock. I've gotten quite attached to this guy and love the tactical feel of it. I'm thinking about getting a second marker for a little variety in my play. I was looking at the A-5 as a base for this gun and the 16" rifle barrel. I like being able to grab my gun by the stock and with the super skinny 16" barrel that's next to impossible. I wanted to know if there is anything I can put over or around the stock to give it a more M82 where the first 6-8 inches of the barrel are in a sheath. (forgive my lack of technical knowledge of a gun's nomenclature) pretty much i want it to look something like this http://fragcdo.files.wordpress.com/2007/12/vfc_m82a1_430x230_1.jpg or this http://www.tristatespecops.com/gear.asp but even the second gun shows a bit more barrel than i would like.

Actual scopes are pointless on paintball markers. Some people find red dot sites to be helpful, but paintbal markers have to be arced to shoot at any significant distance making scopes unusable.
