My brother recently bought an new A-5 (one with selector switch grip) and got the E-Grip to go with it (p/n: T201008) and he had me install it for him, it was straight forward install not too hard but when i went to put the gasline back in it screwed into the tombstone fine but when i bent the line down to plug into the new asa that came with the e-grip it didnt line up exactly and after screwing it in the hose seemed to have some play in it, the nut was tight but the fitting still wiggled.

Heres a pic

Heres the link in case pic doesnt work http://i.imgur.com/Gn8mk.jpg
when you plug in the tank it sprays co2 out from this fitting now on the part there you can see thats brass looking

any ideas? do i need to get a new gasline, or asa?

Did you use thread sealant or teflon tape?

no loctite or teflon tape.

my Spyder gas line just has it like finger tight but that has a little seal in it, the a-5 doesn't have a seal.  all the searches i seen said to not use teflon tape, and i didnt have my loctite with me when i sent it home with him yesterday and he called me and i told him to try to tighten it but i think he may have tightened it too much.
