Hi all,

first time poster, long time Tippmann fan (1998, with the Tippmann 68 carbine, my first marker ever).

I have a question about the X7 Phenoms, since I'm a recent owner of one now. I have the mechanical version, but I've noticed it eats up more air than my previous gun, the Alpha Black. I used to do at least 2 full rounds with the AB but with the X7P i have to fill up after every round, it seems. I'm also using a Ninja 3500 compressed air tank with a remote coil.

Has anyone experienced this? I had it checked for obvious leaks but found none. The gun, internally, is all stock and have not modified anything but the aesthetics.

Any info would help. I love playing with the X7P but my experience with the air is getting quite bothersome.

Thanks!
