I have an A-5 with the response trigger installed. I play a lot of woodsball and thought a folding stock would be ideal for the different situations I find myself in crawling around out there. Alas, the Tippmann A-5 folding/collapsible stock doesn't quite seem to accommodate space for the response trigger air feed bolt (it won't fold down completely). There does seem to be a recessed space to fit it, but it is off by about a 1/4 inch to actually get past it.
Am I missing something, or do I have trim out a little of the plastic?

It doesn't sound like you are missing anything, unless you put it on wrong, although I doubt it being as the installation is pretty straightforward. You may have to trim the plastic, but call Tippmann first. They may know more.

I have already explored all the installation pamphlets and videos that I could find. I threw in an email to Tippmann to ask the same question (I hadn't so far, because I like to try and get my answers on my own and not deal with wait times, but Painteater brings up a good point).
I don't think shaving out that little bit of plastic will harm the stock or it's functionality, but who wants to mess with something if you don't have to.

I copy what others say and post spam links because I live in my mom's basement and have no life.
